Clear Tunic is the latest brainchild of pnw-based improvisor, art maker, and general freak Max Nordile. Utilizing electronics, tapes, noise makers and a pocket trumpet, Nordile compiles pallets of sounds in real time. Manipulations of tapes, body, and mind lead to a wide variety of sounds from a very limited pallet. The performance at le voyeur lays bare the explosive and chaotic highs, with deeply meditative textures, and rigid moments of silence populated by the laughs from the audience.
