Here it finally is folks - the long lost member of the Rope Bridge & @pleasure_tapes catalogs… coming all the way from France, we have a tape release of the 2024 album “Horrible” and its accompanying Live Session recorded shortly thereafter. The delay in its physical release lies squarely on my shoulders but luckily for us all - music is infinite and forever digestible and re-enjoyable so long as it exists :)
This album was recorded alone by @hugocarmouze in one night without the use of any amps or effect pedals while the calendars flipped from ‘22 to ‘23. It is pure cathartic rock music inspired largely by American bands currently flourishing as “shoegaze” and “power pop” but remains entirely unique and novel. This album also exists as one of Opinion’s releases sung entirely in the non-native English language - adding another level of special to this beast of a recording.
I love Hugo and I love Pleasure Tapes - simple as that! Despite this release coming well beyond it’s intended release, we still have plans for worldwide domination and hope to bring Opinion overseas one day for you all to witness.
