Stone Fruit (David Woodward)

Working with found-imagery and photographs, David uses the medium of collage to find pathways and relationships between seemingly disparate visuals and sources. Bringing together a collection of hand-cut collages made with imagery gleaned from used books about the environment, astronomy, horticulture and design, Stone Fruit considers how things that look soft and beautiful - humans, animals, nature, and queerness - often contain a hard and fossilized but resilient, unseen center.
